"I first met Kris and her husband, Danny, a couple of years ago at church. I was instantly drawn to their energetic and caring personalities, and knew that we could become good friends. Little did I know what God had in store for me: About a year ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis from my brain stem to my tail bone, degenerative disc disease, and two curvatures in my spine. I had to stop working as a welder and became unemployed. After going through various treatments, the pain finally subsided. However, I was not able to return to my previous job or industry.
